While the Dholera fab initially targets mature nodes (28nm–110nm), integrating ASML’s holistic lithography—including computational litho and metrology feedback—forces local EDA, materials, and OSAT players to conform to 300mm Industry 4.0 standards. Geopolitically, it sidesteps U.S. EUV export controls by avoiding sub-7nm processes yet leaves a technical pathway open for future upgrades. Key risks lie in India’s immature supply chain, which could inflate yield ramp costs.
